A technical filter,not another infinite feed
NexSift was born to reduce the cost of keeping up with technology. Instead of reproducing everything that was published, it prioritizes signals with real impact for people who build, operate, design or decide about technology, with development as the main editorial bias.
NexSift was created by Tiago Castro, a full stack cloud developer with a degree in Systems Analysis and Development and more than 5 years in the market building and operating software. The motivation came from the cost of keeping up with technology: infinite feeds, hype and little context. NexSift is the filter he wanted for himself: few signals, verifiable sources and direct context about what changes for people who build software.
A signal is only published when it passes all of these criteria:
Source before opinion: evidence supports every fact, and the source is cited.
Context before volume: publishing less is better than lowering the standard.
Technical impact before hype: concrete consequence beats flashy novelty.
A signal is a relevant change, verified and placed in context. Not everything that happens is a signal: the change must be real, have evidence and alter a decision, risk, opportunity or understanding for people who build or operate technology.
AI researches, organizes and drafts with support; NexSift verifies. No claim is published without a verified source, and the text points to the material that supports it. Before making decisions, review the original sources; errors may occur.
Every signal gets a relevance (how much it matters to people who build and operate technology) and a confidence (the solidity of the evidence and interpretation). Only signals with relevance 6.5 or above and confidence 7 or above make it to the radar.
The flow is a sieve: a lot happens, almost nothing gets through. NexSift asks whether the change is real, whether there is evidence and whether it has consequences. What is left becomes a signal, and every signal ends by indicating what to watch next.
